Spending the day Illustrating Away

Jumping Around from Application to Application

Snakemouth/Rose Pogonia Orchid (Pogonia ophioglossoides) finding wonders of nature at our wetlands.

So I spent most of my day illustrating a variety of flora having the best time at it. Just getting myself use to the old faithful applications that I have not been visiting enough now a days. Adobe Illustrator, Animate & Photoshop, each of which has its own unique set of tools to get the job done. Also tried some fauna illustrations but was not as happy with them but I do believe the flowers were a success ... have a look & comment please on what you think of my illustration styles.

Commonly known as Water Arum or Wild Calla (Calla palustris).

Grass Pink Orchids (Calopogon tuberosus). Found them all over the large bog at Alfred, Ontario.

Broad-Leaved Arrowhead/Wapato (Sagittaria latifolia).

Desert Globemallow (Sphaeralcea ambigua) at Mojave National Preserve, California, United States of America.

Did a lot of work to get the effect just right on this one ... Painted Trillium (Trillium undulatum).

The one that got me started today & singing away ... Hispid Buttercup (Ranunculus hispidus) Mer Bleue Conservation Area, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Ramsar site no. 755.

& lastly featuring a tree ... I do hope I can get some of your opinions on my illustration styles
