If you look at the crawl statistics report in the Google Search Console, you may notice that there is a gap between the reports. Yes, there are days of lack of data or some kind of reporting error, which affects the report. This reporting issue has not yet been confirmed by Google as a widespread issue that could be a bug in reporting. What does it look like. Here is a GIF I made of this missing day, you can see that this report was missing Tuesday 8th February. Others are reporting that February 9th is missing but I think it depends on your area? Crawl report. The Crawl Stats report in the Google Search Console shows you statistics about the history of Google crawls on your site. For example, how many requests were made and when, what was your server response, and what issues might arise. You can use this report to determine if Google is experiencing service issues when crawling your site, Google says. You can access the report here. History. Google compiled the report a day later, or maybe the data itself compiled the report a day later. Only reporting issues. It is likely that only news coverage will surface in the coming days. I won't worry if this is a sign or not a sign of a Googlebot crawl problem. Probably just a problem with crawl reports. Why do we care? You may notice this data gap in your reports and concerns. No need to worry that everyone sees this data gap. This seems to be a widespread reporting problem that affects anyone who tries to verify their fall report. Give it a few days and repeat it later, but I doubt it had any impact on your rankings, rankings or rankings in Google Search.
